Easter Carnival at New Covenant UMC
The carnival features an afternoon of bounce houses, fun games, a photo booth, a petting zoo, train rides, and more. All ages are welcome. You park in the main lot west of the building across the boulevard and north of the main one. The Eastern Carnival is taking place on April 14, 2019, starting at 03:00 PM and ending at 05:00 PM.
Sensory Easter Night at Myriad Gardens
Easter night welcomes families. Children visit festive booths and collect eggs or take pictures with the Easter bunny at a designated photo spot all night. You have to register in advance. The event is best for children under 12 with sensory sensitivities. Siblings welcome. Bring your Easter baskets!

Discounts, specials, giveaways, promotions, and in-store activities will be provided by midtown merchants on April 20, 2019, 02:00 PM until 06:00 PM.
Paint n Sip Africa
This event, hosted by Nappy Roots Books, features a painting class for adults and kids. Benefits go toward the BAE (Books And Essays) Club. Both sessions include refreshment (kids, 1 – 3 p.m.; adults, 4 – 6 p.m. ) The teen and preteen book club meets on the 4th Saturday of each month.
The price for adults is $20 or $25 at the door. For kids, the fee is $15 or $20 at the door. The event takes place at Nappy Roots Books, 3705 Springlake Drive, Oklahoma City, OK on April 28, 2019 from 01:00 PM to 06:00 PM.
Earth Day Festival
A free Earth Day Festival is taking place at Reaves Park (2501 Jenkins Ave, Norman) on April 28 this year. It features fun family activities communicating the importance of environmental protection including hands-on art projects, mascots, musical entertainment, pet adoption and more. The event starts at noon and goes on until 5 p.m.
Between April 1 and April 30, you can see more than 30,000 gorgeous azaleas at the Azalea Festival at Honor Heights Park. 625 varieties are to be seen here! Another interesting event is Party in the Park, where you can sample local food and wine.
